Aveline Younge, a normal 20-year-old girl, was born and raised in the kingdom of Lucis. Growing up within the Wall, she was sheltered from what was really out beyond. When the Empire suddenly invades her home, killing her king, as well as providing no word of the whereabouts of the Prince, her best friend Prompto with him, how will she escape and survive on her own?

I strongly suggest playing Final Fantasy XV (and possibly finishing, depending on where this goes) before reading this book. It will generally be following the main story of FFXV.

A/N: Square Enix owns any characters within Final Fantasy XV, as well as the universe this story takes place within. I only own ones that I have added.

The Far Edge of Fate (Final Fantasy XV)

40 parts Complete

After tragedy strikes her home, Galahdian refugee Aaralyn Kailiani is forced to pick up her life and move it to a city that does not want her. Struggling to figure out how she fits in, she finally finds her place in the Kingsglaive; a hodgepodge of refugees from all corners of Lucis all fighting for a shot at freeing their shackled homes. But as Aaralyn strikes up an unlikely friendship with the Prince, she starts to piece together their nation's troubled history, and the mysterious figure that lies at the center of all of it. However, when Insomnia is attacked and she comes out of it with a mysterious power that's as useful as it is dangerous, she begins to wonder... What really happened that terrible night in Galahd? "A walk without rest. A fate hinged upon unknowables. A life doomed to suffering. Yours is a unique gift. You walk a path unhindered by the Passage. Use it wisely." [NOCTIS X OC] AKA, I take a jackhammer to canon and add a little ✨spice ✨ Rewrite to Stars in the Night Sky, but the reader character is an OC. A significantly longer experience, involving more chapters, rewritten chapters, new characters to replace old ones, and an entirely different ending to the original. Written as acquaintances to friends to lovers. Also contains Ignis/OC, Prompto/OC, and Gladio/OC, so if that's not your cup of tea, now you're aware.
