Caroline is the daughter of the greatest goalie to ever play the game. Even though her mother passed years before, she followed in her parents footsteps to write, and to write about hockey. She meets up and coming goaltender Corey Crawford on the way to training camp and they quickly become friends. Corey finds her interesting and she sees a lot of her father in him. They hit it off but there's a few problems. One is that Corey is in a relationship whether he wants to admit it or not. Another is that Caroline's sweet and soft personality does not match Corey's dangerous and outgoing one. But in times of need it's each other they lean on and support.
