Sandy Pike; an orphan after her parents were murdered by a serial killer named Rest Stop Killer. A lot of truck drivers and travelers went missing and so did her parents. As a kid, her parents told her that butterflies were magic and could grant wishes if you were determined enough. The butterfly tattoo on her back tells it all and leads her to answers, even more questions about her parents' murder and maybe true love.

"Ahhh!!!" The man's body falls to the floor limp and I fall to the floor out of terror, "Why are you screaming? I saved you from being raped." I look at the man who is holding a gun with a little smile on his face. He holds the gun up to my head and I start crying, "P-Please, p-please don't do this. I-I won't tell anybody." He bends down and I whimper, "I don't think I can let you go. What happened you run and tell in the next three days? You've already seen my face and heard my voice." I shake my head, "I swear I won't tell anybody! I-I don't know anybody!" He looks at me up and down, "I'll give you two choices. I kill you now or you come with me.
