Run Away time

"Hey, it's me, Brooklyn, before you hang up just hear me out," I took a deep breath trying to calm myself. Twenty seconds of bravery Brook, only twenty seconds of bravery.

"I know you hate me and all but this is my last chance to tell you how big of an impact you were on my life and even though I messed it up and you hate me with the others I still care about you and I guess I just wanted to say thank you for those times you were there for me. By the way I just wanted to tell you this because I am running away today, Kay ciao, bye, sayonara, have a wonderful life." That was the fastest I have ever talked and that is a lot to say considering I do talk fast.

The sound of a phone shifting around blasted while I parted the phone from my ear to end the call, "What? No Brook you can't do that, what the heck are you thinking?" Brook, I've missed that nickname coming from his lips.

"Don't even try talking me out of this Mason, I'm already crossing the towns border," I lied while closing the trunk of the car. I fixated my phone while making my way inside of the house. I just needed to make myself some food for the ride and I'll be gone.

"Come on Brook, you seriously think I don't remember how you lie. It's been a while but it hasn't been that long."
