An international competition for junior league hockey teams is being held in Lo Angeles, Coach Gordon Bombay is picked to lead Team USA. He reunites the 'Mighty Ducks' the teen misfits he once coached to victory. This time crass sports promoter Tibbles tempts the Ducks to cash in pn their fame in lieu practicing, but the team eventually gets back into training and takes on Iceland and their violence-prone coach, Wolf Stansson.

But what happens when Charlie becomes too focused on hockey to the point where he starts to neglect his relationship? Unanswered texts, missed study sessions, cancelled dates, and even forgetting their one year anniversary. Obviously, Sadie becomes more and more hurt as time goes on, and she starts to question if Charlie ever really loved her. When the Ducks are finally able to show Charlie how much he's hurt Sadie, he insists that he hasn't done anything wrong... until he sees for himself how much he's hurt her. Charlie is left with an important question - what's more important to him? Hockey or the girl he loves? And more importantly, will he be able to save his relationship with Sadie? Or will it be too late, because she's finally decided she's had enough? [book 2 of the mighty ducks series - companion book to forever yours]
