Taking place in the midst of the War of Cybernetics, the young and feeble Alan finds himself in a grim situation. A situation that causes him to leave his hometown with a group of the King's army known as The Collectors - people whose soul purpose is to collect kids in each town of the Kingdom to draft them into the war. That is when Alan realizes the full extent of the tactics that are being used in the war. Tactics that involve taking over a person's will and transforming them into monsters, enlightened to the point of madness. Their transformation is based off of the gas in which they had inhaled, and they are classified into four categories: Witches, Enlightened, Giants, and Grazers. With the help of a scientist who takes the bodies of dead individuals and turns them into robotic soldiers, Alan must convince the newly-appointed Emperor to revoke the Collection Process in favor of said robots. A world where fiction, fantasy and reality collides. An open-world imagination, where the writer, follows his steps back to his dreams and nightmares upon waking up. He tries to remember those mysterious dreams he had and on a fine morning the following day, with a cup of coffee in his left hand and a pen in his right, starts inking them remembering each and every detail. Even though, hardly possible to exactly trace back the dreams in details by any human, the writer links them to the reality in a logical way to make sense such as in political and current aspects. Cell phones, computers, and other machines are worthless to most, except to a few… Clara Danvers is a conduit, a person with the ability to Wake the junk from humanity's past by infusing the sleeping machines with Nites. Fearing the people who do not understand her abilities, Clara and other conduits live their lives in hiding. Most conduits tend to brave the crumbling metropolitan ruins of old, scraping to gather a living for eccentrics who will pay well for antiques from the world's past. They scavenge junk, repair junk, sell junk, and Wake junk in the back allies and dark basements of the lightless communities of tomorrow. Until the day one a conduit goes missing… From a young age conduits are taught to fear those people who don't understand them, to keep vigil, or the road pirates called the Junkers will get them in the night! Braver than most, these bedtime cautionary tales never scared Clara, until the day a friend's family is murdered and that friend's conduit brother disappears. Now Clara must find the people that took her friend's brother. She must do this quickly, because the Junkers are coming for her next… "Conduits" is updated every Tuesday. Check back for new chapters!
