Little Copper, the Black kittypet cat, has heard stories from her neighbors about terrifying feral cats in the woods that murder kittens and animals like her. They say they are scary and are much larger, stronger, and faster than she will ever be. They sleep on grass and eat real meat. They don't like humans and have never slept indoors in a warm bed, by the fireplace.....
One day, while Copper's family is on vacation, a terrible something happens and she is forced into the woods, wondering if the stories are really true.
