Four teenagers. Three weeks. Two secrets. One log cabin. For some reason, Sawyer Heyes’ insane best friend Amy decides to sign the pair of them up for three weeks in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere with two other random teenagers. It’s part of an experiment set up by the local youth club, and Amy is convinced it will be a breakthrough in both their love lives. But things don’t go quite according to plan when the pair of guys they end up in a cabin with are not the dreamy romantics they had hoped for – far from it. They’ve got secrets to hide and they’re not Sawyer’s or Amy’s type. So these three weeks will be awkward and hectic and not at all enjoyable, right? Or not. Maybe Sawyer will find her true love. Then again, maybe her heart’ll get broken instead. Who knows?

Being trapped at hugs-not-drugs camp for a week is about as appealing to Lucien as having his eyebrows plucked out. That is until he meets Isabel. The girl is sweet, sexy, and likes to share her life way too much for someone like Luc, someone who's been wearing a back-the-hell-off sign since second grade. But every piece of her traumatic past is like a gift to Luc, one he doesn't want to let go of. When the week comes to an end, Luc and Isabel start a tenuous long-distance relationship, one foraged through late night whispered phone calls and confessions Luc never thought he'd be making. But as Isabel continues to push, and the two can't be in the same room without breaking up or making up, Luc must decide if it's worth revealing all his scars to a girl who hasn't yet healed from her own.
