To deal with the recent influx of suicides, Death created a new breed of angels.
His Death Dancers are the souls of those who died too soon, and whose life was filled with happiness and kindness. Their job is to search for the souls that are standing on the edge, and ready to jump.
They find the people who Death isn't ready to welcome just yet, and talk them down.
Ellie is a new Death Dancer. With an inner sense of where she needs to be, she jumps around the city, talking people off ledges, full pill bottles and sharp blades. She gives them hope, friendship, a guardian angel.
Until she Dances her way onto a ledge with Death Himself.

Soon after, a demon named Ardalina arrived and joined The Guardian's Guild. She brought disruption to the place, and a series of chained events followed her actions; which then lead to Ray's sudden leave as he turned himself back into a mortal. Upon hearing this, Rosaline embarked on a journey to restore hope in her love life and became determined to create a chance for Ray to make a return to The Guardian's Guild. Did she succeed of a happy ending or failed in a tragedy? What enemies did she make? Why had she become a legend, The Masked Angel? Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her.
