Four girls who hope to blend in as normal in their very first year of high school are having a difficult time. They each are normal, except for the fact that they all have a Phantastix- smaller than average, genetically engineered animals from Pluto. They have adapted to humans and learned to merge with them in order to defeat their greatest threat: Moolissa. Moolissa is the evil scientist who created the Phantastix. He created them on Pluto to give him ultimate power, however, the Phantastix escaped from the grasp of Moolissa and took refuge on earth. So far, Moolissa has been able to locate the Phantastix on earth, but not without causing trouble. Can the Phantastix and their new partners stop Moolissa in time and save the rest of the Phantas?

Young veterinarian, Mavis Rogers, has two goals for her new career- don't kill anything and don't reveal to her mentor that she can talk to animals. Because the universe has a twisted sense of humor, she accidentally kills her first patient and discovers that her hard-ass, temperamental mentor, Alex Dodd, can also talk to animals. He introduces Mavis to Aurora, a secret organization of elves who report to Nicholas at the North Pole (yes, that Nicholas). They're humans with the genetic ability to use magic and are duty-bound to protect unsuspecting non-elven humans from rogues. Forced into serving Aurora, Mavis is thrown into a war against an army of rogues led by ex-Aurora elf, Beau Tanner. Mavis learns that she alone possesses the magic powerful enough to stop Beau, but lacks the confidence to use it. If only her mentor wasn't such an asshole. Lucinda Morales is a Type A Adderall addict who takes offense at being given orders. Her parents ordered her to use her degree in chemistry to become a medical doctor, so she became a wildlife biologist instead. When she discovers that her new job with playboy nature documentary host, Kevin King, is a ruse to lock her into Aurora's servitude, she carves a path that none of her teammates anticipate. What Lucinda lacks in power, she makes up for with her intelligence and tenacity, and there are no limits to how far she will go to obtain that power. If only her mentor paid attention. Animals call Aurora elves the Good Ones, but how can battle lines be drawn when "good" is open for interpretation?

"You're my Queen-" "I'm no queen." She says, taking off her crown. "A queen doesn't leave her people behind. A queen doesn't take the benefit of the doubt and try to only save herself." "But, if you didn't, matters would have been far worst-" "A queen never abandons the man that's been with her through it all. Her husband, lover and best friend. A queen doesn't abandon her mate." She slowly began to walk towards the door, no doubt ready to close it. "If this is what being a queen feels like, then I simply don't want it." ............. As the Queen of Lycans is captured by the brother of Hibicus, a whole new scene of events begins to create a whole new world of war and destruction. Hearts will be broken, wars will be claimed. Emotions and sanity will be shattered and what seems like a simple starkys might be the biggest mistake to ever be made in this here life, or is it? The starkys will prevail from the dark shadows they once hid in. And to achieve this, they need a leader, a Queen. She will prevail above all. She will face her demons. She will reign on high. Though she's risen above all else, is it really all rainbows and sunshine on the other side? Warning: This is the second book in The Starkys Series. "We have a new student in our class today," he announces. I see Jaz's face light up at the prospect of being in the same class as one of the new students. "This is Dominico Redwind and I expect you all to make him feel welcome." I hear a couple people in the class gasp. This was not the California boy they were expecting. ***********************************************************************************Faye Lightcaster is nerdy, sarcastic, and a witch attending a run-of-the-mill highschool like every other teenager. Her life is routine and boring... until a certain student moves to Rockyglenn High. Dominico Redwind. Tall, handsome, charismatic and a warlock. The sworn enemy of witches like Faye. *********************************************************************************** We hate each other. The only thing different is we're sort of variations off the same power. Witches have control over inanimate objects. We can do different things with earth, fire, water, air, plastic, metal all that sort of stuff. Warlocks on the other hand control people. They can also control animals but only super dumb ones. Most animals will freak out whenever a warlock comes near them, sensing the danger. The last kind of magical human is a wizard but there are only three of those. Wizards can control just about everything. They're powerful to the five millionth power and are greatly respected. They set the laws for both warlocks and witches alike. But these aren't wizards to be respected. These are manipulative and evil warlocks. Oh crap. ********************PREVIOUSLY TITLED WIZARDS, WARLOCKS AND WITCHES*************
