The day seventeen year old Valentine Merril moved back to Tulsa in Oklahoma was the day that changed not just her own but eight other lives forever....but was it for the best? There's no going back no matter what.
Valentine soon learns that small town life is very different from New York City, it's made considerably harder when you've a protective older brother shadowing you, poisonous secrets to protect and a gang of seven boys intrigued by your past, especially a certain blue eyed teenage rebel....who just so happens to be your brothers best friend.
Will there be love or hate? Or perhaps a dangerous amount of both...

This story is set in 1965 America and is an Outsiders fanfic, I'm fairly confident that I haven't made any mistakes but if there are any I apologise.
Valentine is Bucks sister and this is a Dallas Winston love story.
I'm not an expert on the 60's, I've tried to make everything as realistic as possible with the exception of the clothing some characters wear so I apologise if this annoys anyone.
All the images I use were found on Google and do not belong to me.
The only characters I own are Valentine and the ones that do not appear in the Outsiders book, although I have made a lot of changes, this story and most of the characters still belong to S.E. Hinton and not myself.

Gangs take over the east side of Tulsa. You won't catch a greaser without some sort of identification on them. Tattoos, jackets, scars, or jewlery. Tulsa gets bloody and rumbles happen often, so living without a gang would be living in terror. And living in terror isn't really living. Elle Bovino is a 16 year old Italian greaser living on the east side of Tulsa with her older brother Peter, and her mom. Her father went to prison, but prior to his arrest, he was abusive to the two kids. Peter then swore to never let anyone touch Elle ever again. Peter was the leader of the gang the Coyotes, thanks to Elle, but she still didn't belong to any gang. Not even her boyfriend's gang, the White Blades. Among the many gangs in Tulsa, the biggest one happens to be an Italian force. Their name is the Key Men, despite both men and women being in the gang. It is dangerous for Elle to not be in the Key Men because she does speak fluent Italian, and her brother may or may not be able to protect her forever like he promised. The Key Men want Elle Bovino because she has power and could influence the other girls. But many gangs want her for the same reason. Who knows, her life could domino effect downhill due to the one guy who promised her protection. Hell, she might not even marry the man she thought. Y/n,'rebel' had just moved to tulsa Oklahoma with her best friend flake and flace and it started out good.Y/n had a terrible childhood and that got her tough. She had a scar on her left eye from her father, he almost beat her to death if flace hadn't been there. They stayed a couple of days until things got weird. She saw that rich kids were on the west side and the poors were on the east. There were two gangs the greasers and socs. Y/n wasn't either one so she didnt have to worry about being one or not. She saves someone's ass from getting jumped one day and they get alone just fine. The guy takes her to the gang and introduced her, she gets along with them but the one greaser that really caught her eye was dallas winston. They both get to know each other and became best friends. But tragedy struck and y/n murdered two socs, she goes to dally and asks if she can hide johnny and ponyboy but dally, he loves her so he said he would help her too. but no one knows that dally loves his baby girl.Complete
