When Angela Clarke was 16, the world around her crumbled, and shortly after, her uncle died, leaving her to care for her younger cousin. Now, to years later they continue to fight to live on the road, scavenging for food and water.

Daniel Johnson got lucky. When the world ended, he found his little brother on the school bus his teachers dragged him on to, and a year later, after months on the road with their father, they found a town. It was safe.
