The Light and Dark

Lyra grew up in the system, she ran away when she was sixteen and grew up fast on the streets of Las Vegas. At twenty-two she is self-employed and independent. Her life is forever changed when she gives a pale stranger a ride to the center of the Vegas strip.
In an instant the world is set ablaze. Lyra takes the hand of a woman that is all to familiar to her and she is whisked away to safety. To discover that she was never human but was an outcast from the world of Angels. Back among her own people she must uncover a buried secret to the war between Angels and Demon. Can she learn to harness her new power, and her new status to stop the growing hostilities between the Light and the Dark.
