After losing his father to cancer and never knowing his mother, who died a little bit after he was born, he is forced to move with his father's co-workers...or soldiers. His father was the former Red Leader, which means he is now to be taught to be the next one. He moves to the base and has to go to a normal school to look "innocent". The kids make fun of him, especially a kid named Tom, who he is forced to hang out with, since his only friends are Edd and Matt. He becomes depressed, but never shows it.
