Seema

A story about a girl.

Seema was always very skeptical of her choices in men. She never knew for sure who she wanted to be with or for how long would she be able to survive in the relationship. So, when she moved to UK for her further studies, she decided to make some changes with the new move. She decided to go with the flow. She decided to take some risks that she had never thought of taking before. One night she went out for a drink. At the bar, she met Sunil, a random guy, who totally flattered her. Sunil was a good looking man. He was charming in his own ways. He flirted with her. It was the first time someone was flirting with Seema. She loved the attention that she was getting from him. It was all new for her. They had a fling.

One night Sunil took her out for dinner and there she met his friend Neil. He wasn't good looking, but there was a spark between him and Seema. She felt the spark. He joined the Sunil and Seema for dinner that night. They had a good time. The next day Seema could not take Neil out of her mind. She contacted him. They met and they clicked. She always had a good time with him. Time passed by and it was almost 5 years that they were together. She thought that she was meant to be with him. She wondered when would he pop the question and she would say Yes... They were living together, sharing things. They were almost married, but just not papers yet.

One evening, Seema decided to propose him. She was ready with all the arrangements. She had the ring ready for him, the flowers, the champagne and the chocolates and more for the celebrations later. As Neil entered the home that evening, he flipped the switch to turn the lights on, and there he saw, the surprise and the entire room candle lit. She went on her knees and proposed him. "NO!" he said. She almost fell on the floor. "Why?" she asked. "I'm already married."
