She came back through the door, that same door. I couldn't look at her because I didn't want to know what she was bringing through this time.
"Sam wants to see you, sweetie"
Sam. I've hurt him so much, why would he want to see me? Tears started welling in my eyes just thinking about him being next to me, but I still couldn't look at him. I turned around and walked, with my head down, to the bathroom. Too bad nothing in this house had locks on it.
Little did i know, she was taking Sam into the bathroom to clean him. She walked into the bathroom, since she didn't know I was in there. I was startled by the creek of the door, causing me to jump and look up. Of course, Sam was looking directly at me. He said nothing and Ryleigh didn't even know i was there.
She brought him to the bathtub, took him out of the wheelchair and set him in, then she turned on the water.
I couldn't take my eyes off of sam so i just sat there, staring at his still beautiful face, but you could tell he was in pain. He turned and looked at me with his now cold, blue eyes, making contact with me. When he looked at me, something happened, something that I can't explain. All of a sudden i felt so sick and everything rushed back to me from what i've done. I was supposed to care for him, always be there for him. What have I done?
