Crista isn't your average teenage girl. She's beaten, abused, and bullied by her class mates and her own father. Her mother died when she was nine and her father blamed her. Her whole life changed the day her mom died. The only thing that didn't change is her brother. Her family hates her and she is alone in the world. She can't speak anymore because of something her father did to her when she was twelve. Now when new kids come to her school she feels different. She feels close to them. She lives in between to pack territories but what happens when she finally finds her mates but has to ignore the fact? Will her mate let her ignore the fact or will he fight for her? What happens when her dad finds out about her having found her mate? * Sorry I stink at summaries. WARNING - There is abuse in this story. There is bullying in this story. There is name calling. In this story they also make fun of the girl who is mute. There might be depression of suicidal thoughts or attempted suicide in this story. Chris. He's blond, handsome, lively, a quarterback and a junior in high school. He has it all good, but he hates being popular, no one knows how he's really like. She also tries not to get into trouble during school, her life depends on it. Her mom left her and her dad is an alcoholic mess that abuses her. She works in a bookstore and as an library assistant to make money so she can take care of herself, 'cause her dad would waste all the money he makes on alcohol. Her life has no meaning, she has nothing, she's all alone and has no one to go to. But what happens when Chris wakes up hungover on Rhea's couch? Will their everyday life still be the same? Would their friendship continue to grow into something more?
