Lauren was the average teenager. Glad to be out of high school for the summer before she would have to start college with a not so average terminal cancer that would soon be likely to take her life. She lived her life the best she could, dwelling in music and art, never aware of the things that happened around her.

Every day, she walked down to the store on the beach, knowing that the only person who dared to interact with her was always there.

Normani Kordei owned the surf shop, something her father had decided to let her run for the summer and was the only friendly person who would talk to the green eyed girl. It wasn't out of pity for knowing she had no friends, but a longing for the sweet girl's company.

No one wanted to talk to Lauren or even be around her because she of her illness. It wasn't transmittable but Lauren's depression seemed to act that way which left many to naturally move away from her. They pitied her, but not enough to try and care for her.

With one month left to live, Lauren is determined to make it the best of her life.

There wasn't too many things Normani Kordei couldn't handle. When Hurricane Katrina took down her family's home and she had to move to a whole new state, she handled it like a pro even at five years old. When her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was ten, she didn't sweat it. She just prayed, hoped for the best, and let God do his work. When she was fifteen and her grandmother died of a heart attack, she was the one who kept her family grounded through their grief. Normani is level headed and courageous, and possibly the hardest working person to walk the earth. She knew her limits, she knew how hard to push herself, she knew not to cross a certain line. That line included a lot of dangerous things; like doing meth, playing Russian roulette, and juggling dynamite. But the most deadly on that list, is falling in love. That last one didn't have as many warning signs. But what a lot of people don't know is, falling in love doesn't just happen out of nowhere. There's no love at first site, no fat baby running around shooting arrows in people's asses, no love potion that can poison your mind. Falling in love has four steps that can take years or minutes, and it's almost impossible to stop. There's the trip, the stumble, not catching yourself...and then the ultimate fall. Well, let's just say the ground was extra slippery as of lately. Normani Kordei x Lauren Jauregui (Mini Series) [Mature Content] {Trigger Warning} ⚠️ A dark twist on the classic high school romance narrative.

All Roads Lead Here (Laurinah)

22 parts Complete Mature

Dinah always thought that she's a fearless person; spontaneously running away from home at a young age, driving miles away with no clear destination until she finds herself taking a right turn somewhere along the way and right into the roads of this quaint, simple town she now calls home. Three years later, and the same roads lead someone else into the same town. Suddenly Dinah doesn't think she's so fearless anymore, not when the new girl with her green eyes is making her run around scared and confused about feelings that she doesn't understand.
