Dawn can not wait for her date to be over. It's really not going well in her opinion and even worse when Craig takes her to an underground fighting ring. They are going to be unwilling participants in a game for the rich to place bets on their lives. Dawn soon learns that the fighter she stopped to help is also here. However he is not one of the unwitting victims. He is their control factor, their executioner if they do not follow and play this deadly high stakes game. What's more he isn't even really human, but her actions of the aide given, have drawn Lucian's attention. After all he's been told he can choose the one that survives.
