Mankind left Rocket Age in the past decades ago. Metropolitan cities of the future are now decorated with augmented reality, holovids, pixels and neon lights. Today's humans have become flexible but firm, using prosthetic bodies and brains made out of quantum computers. A.I project that was only a bust-robot before decades; now classified as a "citizen" of Earth. Humanity --like Neil says-- has taken a huge step in decades. But progressing technology also brought such controversial and critical issues within. And Earth had already begun to sink in a stinky sewer hole.
L'Masque Incorporated; the most powerful association of the Cyber Age which is a robotics R&D company. Self-proclaimed "progressors of humanity" that managed by infamous investor/entrepreneur Du Couette; they develop the most controversial, antithetical and grimy projects of tomorrow.
Everything they have done and brought was bearable and humans could still live within it.
But their latest project was the final nail of the coffin. The "super-soldier" project which meant the annihilation of a race.
One day; a "failed" cyborg made its grand escape from L'Masque Incorporated's most secret laboratories. An unidentified viral, but also spiritual energy has broken into the cyborg's quantum computer during the Coding Sequence and that said energy gave a viral pain to the cyborg and made it be able to run away from Zeta Complex within a bullet speed. Caused him to kill many armed forces protecting the lab. The owner of the prosthetic body, Ray Marrow; the shining face of R&B department which killed two days ago, found himself dead in the morgue after discovering the grim face of the company he works for. But now, he's inside of an invincible full-prosthetic body.
The time has come.
The reckoning with the future begins.

In an effort to aid the American military, scientists at Area-51 created animals with human characteristics, incredible speed, strength, agility, ect. They even have sentience. The humans dubbed these creatures 'Anthros'. No human could beat one in hand-to-hand combat. Not even the best person at close quarters combat. 2025: Two things would change the fate of the world as we know it. Those being that missile attacks were becoming more and more frequent. And the anthros were starting to rebel. Thus, starting the war. The anthros turned on their own squads, wiping almost all military members out. The anthros formed a military, with one goal. Extinguish humanity and take over earth. The last remaining humans in the military are fighting against anthros for their survival. Earth is practically hell at this point if you live on it. The human military in other continents has either been taken out by anthros, or the Russians. The Human Canadian Military moves down to the United States in an attempt to aid them, and to end this war once and for all. But one human soldier stands out from the rest after taking an experimental item... After this soldier is betrayed and lost, with no other option, joins the anthro military in an attempt to get his hands on the person who betrayed him. He'll do anything and kill anyone in his way to get to them and end this war. Even his own species. This soldier's name is Falcon. He suspects that it won't be much longer before he'll be betrayed again. But hey, that's just a theory. This book contains excessive swearing, detailed death/injury, and yeah that's pretty much it. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. They came from nowhere. Just suddenly appeared in 1990 and made a few cities. Anthros is what they call themselves. They were taller than most humans. cutting themselves off from humans. Humans have tried talking to them but they never responded. Until 2023, they responded. They wanted a way to slowly engage their species with humans. Humans decided to use a transfer method. 1 human for each of the anthro city to the school of that city. They didn't allow any anthros to go to human society yet. There were 3 cities. Garrison, Relondrit, and Muldrow. Landon got sent to Muldrow. Landon is a 16-year-old sophomore. He's 6.5 caucasian with dark brown hair put into a mullet and dark green eyes. But he ain't no jock, he's a nerd, he doesn't have muscle because he's skinny. Like, see ribs skinny. He was quiet, always doing work and listening to music. (heavy metal and 2000s alternative) When the transfer system was close to the end of freshmen year had started. He immediately signed up. And since he was the first and had all A's except for 1 B (it's criminology) He got into it. So over summer break, he was taught by an anthro (Labrador) some of their traditions. The only difference between them and humans is that they 2 things. Every year for a month, the females get a heat cycle. (It's not the typical one. They can control it. It just makes them turn on more and easier. That's it. No franticly wanting sex.) they also have "Species Day". It's where multiple of the same group meet at various locations. Other than those 2 a few word changes. It's all the same between the 2 sides. Just before the sophomore year started. He was moved into the city. They gave him a basic apartment right by the school. They allowed him to bring his stuff. One of those was his bike. (so he can bike to school. Also, you'll figure out more stuff he brought with him later on in the story. Btw, this is not a harem.
