You ever see that glow over the unlit part of a crescent moon on a cold chilly Monday night? It's called Earthshine; light reflected from Earth. It only happens shortly after sunset or before sunrise, and it does weird things to our earth. Huge holes open up, devouring their victims and shrouding them in a world of pitch black, never to be seen again. Four kids walk down a dirt road towards the sunset, not knowing that their lives were about to change.Todos os Direitos Reservados

The hero had been long dead before the world realized the skies began to close in on each other. It would seem the hero's ghost was embracing the stars like they were his own children, or maybe they were his own children. But that would mean his children were dead too, however they watched from the surface of the earth as their father's ghost morphed each star into six singular suns. Those suns formed what appeared to be a hand caressing the blood moon, which appeared to be crying meteorites. Those tears fell into the sea and destroyed the mysterious island of the sundial. Before the statue was shattered, it pointed towards the peak where Lisa stood, watching in horror as the ocean waves rushed away from the shores of her homeland. No one below knew it, but the hero was not controlling the skies after all.

Nobody cared and so she learned on how to walk on her own, trying not to trip on her own two feet. Nobody understood her the way the moon did. But then she found them. And she felt like she was finally home. Like she finally knows where she truly belongs. And they stayed. They became her comfort. They became important. They became her home. Her family. Time Can't Heal This, de Lauryn_Love

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.

(UNEDITED) Him: And she had me then, tangled in her integrate web, I wanted to find out more about her, everything about her. Thaw the iced glaze over her eyes, melt to cold walls around her with my touch, my attention. Her: I could see the sunshine though the water like an oil painting. Breathtaking. I reached my arm up, as if to touch it, only to meet more water. I frowned. Staying there till my lungs burned, how easy would it be. To just stay here, at the bottom of this creek. Staring at the oil painted sun until my body finally gave up trying to find air. I would just drift away with the water. No one here. No one was around. How peaceful.
