" you know.." she mumbled softly, her deep soulful voice delightfully grabbing my attention from my usual lunch of a freshly made sandwich courtesy of my mother. " i read somewhere... that... if you like the smell of someone naturally.. you have opposite immune systems... isn't that neat?"
" yeah! i read that too! i smiled and looked up at her. her voice made me happy and i was beyond excited that i had a reason to stare softly at her peacefully, so can take in more of what made me fall like i did. " and that.. if you have kids, they grow up to be really strong and healthy."
" wow... we would be perfect..." she said in astonishment, her perfect white teeth smiley so brightly it lit up her face and made her more beautiful... if that was even physically possible.
" really?" i asked deeply embarrassed yet, really excited the same time. i really hope i didn't come off that way..
" yeah my dude!" she smiled " we are totally different.. and we both like the way we smell..." she paused for a moment. " and we always have different temperatures.. like.. your super hot and im super cold..."
" and to make things better.." i smiled really getting caught up in the idea of this. " mixed race babies are statistically proven to be smarter then regular kids..."
" right!" she exclaimed happily. " man.. we would be so perfect.. wed have some healthy kids.."
" yeah.." i smiled brightly, my heart thumping, the happiest i swear its ever been.

she proceeded to grab my hand as the bell rang, singling it was time to get back to our regular lives.
" alright, let get back to class friendo.."
