A girl named Raven is distend to die and it is up to Harry (the devil's right hand man) to kill her. The girl's great, great grandmother made a deal with the devil to help her dying son, in return he kills Raven. So quite literally, she was born to die. Harry is ordered to watch the girl, scare her a bit, then kill, but he can't find the will power to kill her. He develops new feelings that he's never felt in his whole immortal life. The Devil is angered by Harry's defiance and immediately sends his demons to kill the two. Raven and Harry are on the run trying to fight for their lives and continue their relationship.
