Mystery
Green eyed, red headed Kori Logan is a 15 year old high school student. Her dad is a cop and a single parent. Kori hasn't seen her mom in ten years. As for Joe, he's busted open a drug ring and at the heart of it is the most slippery gang Joe has ever dealt with, Pack 716. It all started with a warehouse, owned by the Arlend family, Mike used it to fill grocery orders for store chains. Joe has watched Mike's son David grow up and even went to a few of his foot ball games when he could. David blew out his knee in his 11th grade year, and hasn't played ball since, but David and Kori have grown up together. David was always protective of Kori. Joe and Kori's hometown of Copeland is next on their territory list. Joe is working doubles and finally catches a break when the school year begins again and Kori has dirt he can use and a case of her own to crack.... She gets some info about the gang with David's help. When the two cases collide Joe has his own bring your kid to work day and Kori gets to be partners with her favorite Hero. The unlikely duo discover a twist that neither of them saw coming...
