That's the perspective of Valora, 'Lora' for short, who woke up in the middle of an intense situation with no way to recall her memories. No known family. No known friends. No known enemies. No known memories. Valora has to fight through the present with her entire being to try and get to her uncertain future, while trying to recollect her past simultaneously.
