It was just a fantasy; an idea; to die on the day of your birthday, but the circumstances forced her to try and live, or rather, die that fantasy.
Twenty year old Andrew Stowers feels his life is incomplete. There's something missing, but he can't pinpoint what. When he finds a letter in a second hand book he had purchased from a garage sale though, he finds himself strangely intrigued in the life of the writer.
The letter, more like a diary entry, written two years ago, is from the girl who wants to end her life on her eighteenth birthday just because of a promise she had made to herself years ago. Andrew can't let it go. He wants to reach the bottom of that letter; to find what happened to the girl.
As Andrew sets to find the girl, he finds his life changed in the way he didn't think was possible.

Within the time-frame of a mere two days his life is changed, but he's not the only one.
Is it fate or some twisted form of chance?
He becomes intrigued and engross to discover more. Learns about the girl in the book from her own telling's. It's too personal. He decides to find her and return it. But there's no name tag or written indication of who the book belongs to. He must read her private memoirs and use the clues within the damaged pages to find her and maybe even save her life in the process, while discovering his own.
