A fantasy story that combines two different worlds and time periods. 

There is a legend that each naga (snake spirit) was once a human with a strong need to complete an important task in their previous life. At the time of a naga's birth, their past given name is said to appear in the minds of their parents, this is the only remnant they have of their former life. Other than that, the only thing they have to rely on is their instincts and chance to take care of their old regrets. Until that happens, their spirits will never be at peace. 

Jade, Clan Head of the Naga is content with his life, but a meeting with a mysterious stranger changes everything. A family portrait from his past life makes its way back to him and restores these painful memories. He has to leave behind the life he worked so hard to build for himself in an attempt to repair the past. Using forbidden time travel magic, he returns to his former life as King Jade of Centellia.

They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet. The man probably didn't expect you to know any of the people, but when you ran up to Cole and hugged him, you could say, it took him by surprise. quick note, you have two brother's, one older brother, and one younger brother. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same.
