It has been more than hundred turns of the world around the sun since the Dark civilization disappeared into the dense dark jungles after the war they fought with the men of the east.
Peace benefits the city of the easterners. Kahanhold- the City beyond the sea, as they called it. Beyond it's gates is vast rainforest said to be twice as big as the lands in the east, but five times as dangerous. Giant apes, tattooed lizards, enormous flying blood bats, large felines as tall as a man, all that is said to stalk the dense Venerth Jungle.
Desmond, a messenger from the east is send to Kahanhold, it's king wants to deliver a message to the sleeping civilization. The messenger has heard the terrifying stories told about the dense forest, but he has no choice but to agree to deliver the message. Little does he know, what shall he learn.

The Call, is the first part of the story. One of the first ancient species to form sentience, that helped cultivate a society of higher beings, those were the first to spin out of existences. They helped guide and protect billions of worlds over millions of cycles; the same species thirsted for more, lost sight of there own questions. They had to be driven back, for the war they created, echoed across the cosmos for millions of cycles, but they laid dormant, forgotten, until an explosion of light brought them back. That light stretched a crossed the unknown universe, to open the eyes of the one they all tried to erase from history, Thal. His eyes are open and driven to purpose to find the Highborns that banished and killed many of his kind. The Highborns, hear about the evil that they did not mean to awake. In their effort to prolong life with a new energy source, created an explosion of powerful energy that reached across the multiverse, to awaken them! The ancients come for the Highborns but they did not expect, to find them, the evolved ones. With one particular human leading them, Sapian, forgotten on the doorsteps of the Highborns temple, the only human left on Pugnatorra, a planet that has no equal. In the darkest depths of the Void lies a dream. It's been there of thousands of years undisturbed and thriving. Well maybe not the people in the dream, but the monsters that were conjured into being the moment the dream started seem to do well for themselves. Beasts made out of mangled body parts And congealed flesh, some with dozens of eyes, others with dozens of mouths. All seeming impossible to the eyes of any who aren't one of them and maddening to look at. They rule the dream with tooth and claw, terror and torment. And they relish it. The worst of there are Pathos and Addac, two such creatures of speed and strength who banded together to rule over the rest. They are brothers in bloodshed and destroyers of whole kingdoms. However, the dream isn't permanent. Like most dreams once the dreamer awakens the dream will end along with everything inside or tied to it.
