The fifth installment of Honesty is the Best Policy, starring Sonic, Shadow, my OC Honest, and a hundred other characters from the Sonic series and even beyond! WOW this is the first of my stories to be written at the time it is being published. {w/Sonic} was typed a full year before I uploaded it, {w/Snow} was never meant to be published for the longest time, and {Café Edition} was based on someone else's plot, and I started with their first chapter before scrapping it and starting right in the middle of things to confused EVERYBODY. 
Please read the beginning of chapter 1 for an actual description of the book. This was just me rambling. :3

But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet? This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. If you are confused about any of the characters in this story, please visit my OC book. I will be posting descriptions of the Sonic characters as they appear in my stories as well as some of my own characters. Also, if any event or sequence in this story is hard to understand, don't be afraid to comment on that part and ask me what it means. I will either explain it or rewrite that part.
