Millions of years ago a team of adventurers were dispatched in a last ditch effort to slay a dragon which was terrorizing the land. However before they slaughtered it they glimpsed a sliver of humanity in its eyes and hesitated.
The dragon wept and weaved a sorrowful tale of her life as a human before the king of the land cursed her to live in isolation. Taking pity, they decide to release from her eternal suffering and gift her with a map that was rumored to lead to the kingdom of dragons.
In return the dragon made a promise.
In the present day magic has disappeared without a trace, living on only in stories. Kaida however, is still not considered normal and her missing mother isn't helping. On the verge of giving up the search Kaida falls into despair.
Now the bond between both human and beast are tightening, bringing both closer. Travel with Kaida to the world of the reverse side, from a place now void of magic to a land where the mythical reign.
