Amber Wade-Prescott was on a summer trip to Germany with her friend. Amber was taking a stroll through the woods, realizing that in a week she would be back home, and within another she would be back at college. The disappointment settled in as she suddenly discovered an oddly shaped stone set in a clearing.
Investigating, Amber was suddenly overcome by a deep, resonating force which transported her to the Realm of Recentia.
Join Amber as she discovers a world quite unlike her own--full of magic and mythical beasts--in which a political revolution caused an outbreak of a bloody war. The Confederates are holding steady, but their crumbling. If they fail the world will be steeped in oppression and tyranny. 
That is when Amber is told of the prophecy: there is a coming warrior who will lead the people of Recentia back to their former glory--and it may just be her.
