V O D E   A N   ||   A   U A A T   S T O R Y

Rex has never been quite the same since Ahsoka died.

And no one else has, either -- at least not toward him. Rebel Command treats him as though he's made of glass, stepping warily around him and only assigning him missions far below his level of skill. And without her to breach the gap, he has become something from another era they no longer fully understand.

Something... alien.

But it's been six months since Malachor, and he has grown tired of having too much time to grieve and not enough distraction to lessen it -- for, as they often said in the GAR, inaction allows old wounds to fester. When new information on a particular incident during the Great Clone War he long thought resolved comes to light, he jumps on the opportunity to strike out on his own and investigate.

With the unexpected help of a few old friends with similar objectives that hide shocking secrets, Rex may just be able to get some much needed answers and take the first steps toward redeeming an old wrong. Set against the backdrop of the surprising story behind the Aargonar conflict, Rex will travel from the prison-planet Ayqor to the spice mines of Kessel following a trail of clues laid down almost twenty years ago, in the name of the one thing a clone soldier of the Republic values above all else: brotherhood.

Because captain or sergeant, traitor or loyalist, val cuyir su vode an -- they are still brothers all.

The Ex-Sith and the Clone (Captain Rex x reader) by Eyelynthederp
25 parts Ongoing
- Y/n, an ex-Sith turned Jedi, and Rex, a Captain in the Grand Army of the Republic. How can a relationship like theirs work? Yet alone work on the battlefield of war? And on top of the war consuming the Galaxy Jedi aren't supposed to form attachments. 'When have I ever followed the rules.' Y/n's life was in no way comfortable. From her parents that made sure she became a vessel of darkness to her master that pushed her to become the best. Jedi aren't supposed to form attachments but this one was different, this Jedi tended to. Whether that meant to the past, her fellow Jedi, the commander that served under her or a certain Captain. - !Female reader! Begins in 38 BBY. - Points of note! This book contains: a slow burn romance, war, pain, suffering, character death, light cursing but most of it circumstantially censored, precocious children, Obi-Wan and Y/n bickering like good siblings, Ahsoka and Anakin being chaotic, Y/n being friends with ALL the clones, torture, imprisonment, the Jedi council being arrogant, R7 being Y/n's metal child, Y/n being the General of the 104th because they're criminally underused, Wolffe protect and attack for his General, Ahsoka and Y/n being the best sisters. I will most likely add to this as time goes on. :) - I do not have any claim to the material of George Lucas' Star Wars properties. I make zero profit from this book. This is purely for my enjoyment and the enjoyment of others on this platform.

Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. Jess, formerly known as CC-9976, a member of the 21st Nova Corps, shot down his Jedi general in accordance with Order 66. Now, Jess finds himself a stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire. The Empire is not the Republic that he was once so proud to serve. Jess finds himself being tested in ways he never was before. As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. War is all he's ever known. Whether he is a clone, an Imperial soldier, or a Rebel fighter, one fact remains. He is a trooper and war is in his blood. Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind.
