I do not own Steven universe. This story follows a girl who was taken by homeworld and worked on as an experiment. She was taken at a young age and turned into a half gem half human on accident. She stowed away on Peridot's ship to see the world she came from. She has grown some and changed alot since she had last been at her home, but she can't help but see a familiar face and fall in love with someone she just met when she comes back. She doesn't try to live in the past but she doesn't want to live without those who use to be in it. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began.
