A young dragon, Lukan, who has sworn his life to piracy, explores the seas and has long spurned romance from any and all females. He feels content with his life as a pirate. However, this all changes when the captain brings aboard a young gypsy girl, who's home has been destroyed by "noblemen." Young Lukan must now face not only the sea and it's harshness, but must also struggle with the feelings he has inside of him, feelings towards the young gypsy girl, Drina.

Áuliiel lives on a world of seas but dreams of travelling to the stars. As princess, she has spent her entire life on her home-world, one that remains hidden after a deadly alien invasion. Hiding has kept her people safe, but Áuliiel believes that her people deserve more than a life of concealment and secrecy. However that secrecy now threatens the planet and Áuliiel knows they must find another way to survive. When a strange alien crash lands on her planet, Áuliiel sees an opportunity to save her people. But she will need the courage and the strength to leave everything she knows and everything she is behind. Caspian is a man scarred by his past. After barely surviving a crash landing to an alien planet, he finds a strange woman who cannot speak. Despite coming from different worlds, the two find themselves drawn to one another even as they struggle to communicate. Yet time is running out and Áuliiel must find a way to communicate her peoples' plight with Caspian before it is too late.
