Auden should be smarter. Smarter than some sappy boy who can't keep his heart to himself. The other boys are strong, brutal, crude.
Atticus Mare, for example. A bright, loud, golden statue of David. The perfect picture of a teenage boy. And unfortunately, teenage boys like him are also cruel and self-obbsessed. It's a shame that Auden finds himself totally and hopelessly in love with him.
But when Fitz Galeice, a sharp, smooth piece of stone is thrown into the picture, how will things change? Will Auden find himself in another soul, or will he forget about them all?
"Happily Ever Afters are for the weak," someone once said. But maybe- just maybe - he might find one.

[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. Romeo is the school's number one, and heartthrob of every girl around. He was involved in every part of his school, being a member of student council, and an active sports player. But turns out my last words we're utterly useless. How I got here? Trust me I don't know, I was sipping the liquid from my red cup the first second and the next thing I know is I'm running towards him. ••• Well, Juliet Evans have always hated the football team due to the trauma they inflicted on her brother- they outed him from his closet, if you know what I mean. Ever since that day they have been harassing him physically and emotionally. As his twin, she took it upon herself to protect him- if she had to swing a fist, you bet your asses she would! Here enter Luke Rivers, he was a part of the "No Brainy Bunch" as Juliet liked to call the Football team. Sure he stayed in the sidelines and watched his friends do horrible things- that's what Juliet hates the most, the bystanders who never bat an eyelash when it comes to abuse. Better Than The Movies
In this world, there are some people who get their happily ever afters and others who don't. Those who get their magical fairytale romance, cherish it for as long as it lasts while the others never get to enjoy the wonders of a fairytale. Instead, they are forced to stay inside their hopeless reality and grow old thinking about what they did to deserve never getting their once upon a time. I think those are the ones who wanted it bad enough. They craved a fairytale more than life itself. Devoted their lives to Disney movies and romance books just to be let down by the real world. Which may lead to anxiety, self-harm, low self esteem, and worst of all, losing the people you love. Life works in weird ways. Not just for you but for others too. Take Cassidy Rivers for example.
