After years of battling heart disease, Memory's body is finally getting ready to give in. She can't handle it much more. Her heart just isn't strong enough to go on.

Then, she meets Slender Man one day while hiking. Her reaction? Run and scream. However, when she drops her hairpin, he follows her back to her house where they sit down and talk.

Slender Man is trying everything he can not to fall in love with this girl, but the more he stays with her, the more drawn in he becomes.

The two will always have to know that there's an approaching goodbye just around the corner.
