Twelve year old Gilly Morris is about to journey through a summer of loss, bullies, guilt and terror. Told from her point of view, 2003 is the summer when the horrible, terrible thing happened to her and her mother. Journey's Child is the story of unimaginable loss and pain, and where redemption comes at a high price. Drakes Harbor is an old art community on the Oregon coast where Gilly and her mother spend that fateful summer. Alone with her guilt and pain, Gilly befriends a grizzled hermit living with his own loss. Journey's Child isn't a story of what life can take away but rather the cautionary tale of surviving the storm together.

An age-gap, slow-burn romance of obsession, restraint, and the one connection neither of them saw coming. Mia Bennett was supposed to be invisible - just a high school senior helping her best friend return a forgotten ID to her mom's office at Whitmore Tower. She never expected to catch the attention of the building's owner: Jordan Whitmore, the thirty-nine-year-old billionaire known for his cold heart, brutal mind, and the empire he built out of grief and distance. He wasn't supposed to look at her. She wasn't supposed to look back. But in a single stolen glance, something ancient and dangerous awakens in Jordan - a hunger for softness, light, her. And for the first time in decades, control slips through his fingers. He's too old. She's too young. But some hearts never ask for permission. As secrets, power, and desire begin to entangle them, Mia must decide if stepping into his world is worth risking her own... and Jordan must face the truth he's spent a lifetime burying: Love isn't safe. But maybe, just maybe, it's worth the fall.
