Her newly discovered abilities. one day, her mother is killed in an explosion by someone seeking to kill her for her mother's past secrets, but her father was in jail. she ran away from the only sense of home she had left, and embarks on an incredible journey with her new, but old friend, Peter, the only other "freak" she knows. will Denise find her true potential, and help Peter find his family? or die trying?

I hate having to write these... I don't know how to describe a book I haven't finished yet. But, based on what I have, here it goes. Please, keep in mind, this is book two of the trilogy. If you haven't read the first one yet, you can find it in my profile, Bound by Destiny. Barely living through the trap set by the Fae that wants her gone, Eve imagines the worst is behind her.
