I suppose I am coming to the last of my breaths. This story shall be the last one to be heard from my lips, and I suggest that you, my dear reckless grandchild, calm your tearful eyes and sit to listen. Where is your mother? Is she not coming to see me pass? How dreadful of her! And to think I gave her a roof to live under. Anyhow, it is her loss not to hear this last story, now isn't it, child? This is the story of a sea monster. One with long and jagged teeth, a gaping mouth, slick scales, and a tremendously huge body. He lived alone in the very depths of the ocean, swimming around feasting on what we consider the 'scariest of monsters.' Goblin sharks and the giant squid are horrific creatures to you people, for you have never seen this monster who lurked in the deep. And once a week, he rose to the surface to gaze at the night sky by the tallest and sharpest cliff. He rose his massive head above the surface of the water, stretching so it reached higher than the cliff, and listened to the utter silence his presence brought. A small village rested at the bottom the cliff, and the people there would go ridged as soon as he arrived. Then, after an excruciating hour, he would dip below the surface for a week. So then, here is his tale.

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. Her long, wavy platinum blonde hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes that seemed to stare depths into my soul and keep me frozen in place. I couldn't seem to leave. Her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to catch her breath. I swallowed. One step forward and I could hold her. One tilt of my head and I could kiss her lips. If only I could have a taste of those lips- I have to get out of here. I turned and left, my heart nearly overpowering my brain to stop and go back to her. Only one thought kept me going. Who could ever love a monster? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Hey guys! I'm back with a new story and I've had this idea in my head for quite some time and I'm glad to finally be posting it! Firstly, I got inspiration for this book from a Korean drama called "Goblin" and it's one of the best dramas I've come across after so long. Secondly, no reuploading or copying or plagiarising or whatever it is that is illegal because I will slice your neck and leave you hanging to die :) Jk, maybe. Not really. Thirdly, please enjoy this book and leave comments! Sincerely, Janice GoldShaken *Created, Published & Completed in Year 2017* (Editing Complete ~2018)
