Aria Gilbert is a 17 year old girl who moves to Mystic Falls, Virginia to live with her cousins after her mom thinks she's "too sad" in her little town in Nebraska. Causing her to meet a mysterious Salvatore brother Damon, who off the bat is extremely nice to her which is completely out of character. He finds her to be an interesting person, finding out what she's hiding, he plans on being the one to help her. They fall for each other. Hard. But how long will it be until Damon's natural instinct of turning off his emotion kicks in. Will her depression get the best of her or will he save her from her everyday nightmare?
