Welcome to Topworld. Victoria Spectre, 24, is dead. But her soul was brought back and unceremoniously shoved into a glass statue, now she spends her days working for an obscure organisation called SLEEPSONG. She is charged with finding Johan Severe, the notorious terrorist, and bringing him to justice in post-apocalyptic England. But as her Glass body slowly strengthens, so do her target's bio-bombs. The fate of almost every one in the northern hemisphere rests upon her dead shoulders, and she may have to turn to an old friend for help. An Australian mole by the name of Icarus.
