There have always been, and always will be, great advances in technology. Some are more subtle, and others recognized world-wide. It is these advances that make certain generations stand out more than others. Sometimes these advances are so great, it takes years, decades, centuries even, to come up with technology to out-do them. Sometimes these advances are for peaceful purposes. And sometimes they aren't.
