Welcome to the House of the Yellow Fern, a modern cesspool of scum in a newly formed world where old language collides with astonishing technology. Robotic prostitutes and law enforcement, pagan demigods arising from an alternate dimension, and the innovation of time travel and other outlandish frivolities all contained in the bustling city of New Balton.
In the course of a week, the Hose of the Yellow Fern finds itself filled to the brim with an eccentric set of characters, each coming for their own selfish and illusive reason. As the mass of rejects and royalty alike go through the motions of their sinful pleasures in the "world renowned" clubhouse, their stories become so thoroughly intertwined in an attempt to destroy the city of New Balton and the government figureheads that lay within the city. Five diverse stories come together:
Hollan, a small town writer with an unlucky streak, travels to the annual "Festival of Smoke" with his best straight friend (and unknowing love interest) Jacob, and is victimized by a apparition deep within the clubs walls.
Eiza O. and her mute daughter seek refuge in the club in order to evade Eiza's vindictive husband whom she believes survived a forced house fire and is looking for the two of them.
Ms. Madeline Snow is a retired model, and a rich and powerful figure in New Baltons' over-sexualized media, who is chosen by a highly-influenced young coven of witches to facilitate the rebirth of their pagan god, Grumguk, a monster that feeds of the beauty of virgins.
Ms. Jones, a lowly maid without a home or purpose, becomes consumed by the accusation that her manager and boss of the club is intertwined, if not responsible, for the recent killing spree led by an anonymous religious fanatic.
Quint Bardovel and his bubbly ex-girlfriend Dixie are kidnapped and used as spies for a team of pro-robot saboteurs.
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
