My family surrounded the small scroll in my hands. I couldn't believe I actually entered this stupid contest in the first place. Sokka told me I wouldn't win anyway, but still it's stupid that I would even try this. Every girl in the world is doing it. Who wouldn't want to marry the Princes of the fire nation.
"Open it already." Sokka said impatiently. I lifted the scroll and unrolled it, exposing it to the world.
