Valerie is a 17 year old girl. When she was 3 years old her parents died in a car crash, that's why she lives with her uncle and his 23 year old son Jake, who she sees as her own brother. Valerie has Always been a very happy, life-loving girl. She tries to make the best out of everything and doesn't care about what other people think. She has a passion for drawing and photogrophy. Oh, and, almost forgot, she is madly in love with one of her friends, Nathan.
Nathan is 19 years old and lives with his mom. His dad was an alcoholic and used to abbuse him and his mom. When he had just turned 12 his dad left, just like that, without a word. Now Nathan needs to take care of his mom. After school he goes to work and when he comes home he cooks dinner for him and his mom. He does everything to help his mom with the household. He never has time for his homework and does bad in school. Only no one knows about his situation.
