Makenna Cooper; quiet, strong-willed, hard-headed and determined to prove herself. Her only problem is she can't read music and that's the only thing she wants to do when she has to move schools. Her dyslexia becomes a problem during Marching band when she makes the drumline only because of her persistance. She's willing to fight for it and prove herself to everyone who's ever doubted her. But Makenna's problems only worsen when she's in a car accident. Struck head on by a drunk driver the night they make States for sure. Mak's crushed and scared, and the news the doctors give her makes her wish she wasn't alive.
Asher only wanted to see Mak go places like many others in the Drumline. He's been the only one to know when she needs help even if she doesn't say it. Asher thought Mak was going to be like other girls, but she's the opposite. He finds himself falling for her. And the night she's in a car accident, right behind her and watching everything unfold he knows shes not okay. He knows she just want's to break down, but he won't allow it.

I'll probably never finish this book but if i do it'll be edited and completely edited and new, only keeping it up because this is my 13 year year old self writing and i'm just adorable. Summers mother got her a tutor, since she had extremely bad grades. He tutor, Andrew, is an uprising actor but he is also great at school. At first Summer hates him, insisting she doesn't need a tutor but then she begins to get better grades and he starts growing on her, she begins to like him but realizes the fact that she cant be with him without difficulty. When they do get together, they try there best to not get caught and for it to become public. Ofcourse they do get caught a few times but not majorly where they know who the girl, Summer, is. When they do get caught full on Summer decides to declare a break. So she can think about her options. To become famous like Andrew or stay a normal life and insist that it was only a tutor thing and act as if nothing ever happened.Terminé
