The Ancients A Tale of Survival
The war that everyone had been dreading has finally come to pass. It had effectively destroyed the land. Those that had died were lucky. The ones who survived were slowly being transformed by the radiation that blanketed the world. Thousands of years passed and the memory of what had happened began to fade and people were beginning to forget. Darkness and evil began to creep back into the land. Two siblings were all that stood between history repeating itself and the survival of a world that was just beginning to heal. Would evil take them? Would darkness return? The Altered.
guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) Alternate Universes
[COMPLETED] - - - The Egos and Sanders Sides may not all get along, but they got along for enough time that they could arrange a hang out night for all to enjoy. When branched out in their own little groups, they couldn't cause any danger. Or could they? Marvin had always loved practicing new magic tricks, but his fault was practicing it with everyone else around him. When one of his magic tricks don't go to plan, Marvin is the sole reason the people inhabiting the house are sent away in a frenzy, trying to fine their way through the multiverse of Egos and Sides. They were lost, unable to know where they were until a group of girls were kind enough to help them out. Are these people truly trustworthy, or are they here to make them suffer? - - - ꜱᴛᴏʀʏ ꜱᴛᴀʀᴛᴇᴅ; ᴊᴀɴᴜᴀʀʏ-ꜰᴇʙʀᴜᴀʀʏ 2020 ꜱᴛᴏʀʏ ᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ; ᴊᴜɴᴇ-ᴊᴜʟʏ 2020 - - - Someone had asked me if their egos could be added into my other story but I said no and now I'm making a story for that person and her egos. I wanted to do this because I felt bad about not letting their egos into my story. I didn't want them to be sad so now they technically have their own book from me! - - - Story rankings; #124 in Anti 18/10/20 #67 in Roman 04/04/21 #49 in Septic 31/07/20 #432 in JamesonJackson 21/07/20 #50 in KingOfTheSquirrels 24/09/20 #123 in IplierEgos 11/10/20 #26 in WilfordWarfstache 22/11/20 #1 in SepticEgos 24/06/21 #64 in Roman 20/06/21 #1 in DrIplier 17/09/21Complete
Static
{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16Complete
There's Something Inside Your Head (Invader ZiM AU)
(I DON'T KNOW IF THIS COUNTS AS MATURE) Such a fine line. When Dib wants to ask a girl in his class to senior prom, he knows he'll get hell if he's rejected; so, he turns to the only thing he can: science. If he can turn himself into his best version of himself, nothing can go wrong! ...right? Some CWs: -stronger language than i normally have (still scared to type f*** though whoops) -knives, guns, etc. -murder, the mention of blood -contemplation of suicide -there will be a singular *suggestive* part-while nothing is going to actually be *said or shown*, there will be heavy implications. Or not, tbh idk how well i even wrote it aa All characters (except Carrie) belong to Jhonen Vasquez and Invader ZiM March 21, 2021, 3:41 PM: ayyY fellas this is at #2 for the #invaderzimau tag and #1 for #invaderzimoc let's goOOComplete
