"Like a God?" I asked, running my fingers through my red locks in disbelief. This can't be happening, I'm like a God in-training.
"No," The man shook his head as he crossed his arms over his chest. "You'll become the God. You'll take my place-- Now, enough jibber-jabber! You must go back."
"Where?"
"To be reincarnated of course."

Reincarnation, the idea that a soul is granted a second life, and is reborn in a physical body. It was a concept I enjoyed reading about, and seeing the way different people utilized it to create interesting stories. That's all it was-an interest. Of course, there were times when I jokingly wished to be reincarnated, but it was a simple jest. So with that being said, can anyone tell me... why in God's name was I reincarnated into Elden Ring of all worlds, into fucking Morgott, of all people! Like, seriously?! Well... at least I know what the future entails, even if said future is complete and utter dogshit, and I also happen to have a gamer system, so all's well that ends well, right... right?

Even when a mortal has a soul, without essence... the mortal becomes an empty shell existing for nothing. Our father, he created us pure and perfect. He doesn't want us to soil our bodies and so he never gave us body parts for procreation. When we rebelled against him because we wanted to have relationships with our own kind, he had no choice but to allow. But with his decision, we are no longer perfect... but we are still pure. Is it because we were jealous of his other creation that we wished to love and procreate? No that's not the only reason. Perfection can be achieve through completeness. Right now we are like mannequins. I thought that this was the only problem amongst our brethren. Then, some of us requested our father about experiencing rebirth so that they can change erase the accumulated memories from specific essences collected from mortals.
