Anatole fait partit des futurs gardiens d'un monde appelé "Le royaume de la pluie", il est charié et jalousé par nombreux de ses camarades pour ses rapports plutôt proches avec son supérieur: Ignace, aka "Le grand gardien blanc". Fraternels. Rien qu'affectif. Ignace devait veiller sur lui après la perte de "l'originel".
Maya est une humaine des plus normales. Elle se cherche encore. Elle est accompagnée de la meilleure des amies et du meilleur des petits amis qui soient également. Elle a une vie parfaitement normale.
Jusqu'au jour où ces deux héros, perdus chacun dans leur monde, totalement opposés, se rencontrent pour rechercher cette fameuse "Dame de la pluie".
