The large dragon nudged her head with his and cooed. She sat up and wrapped her hands around him, her tears joining with the rain to soak his scales. He placed his head on her shoulder and she sighed.
"For a second there I actually thought that I had a new chance at happiness. How foolish is that? Why am I such a fool?" Elsa looked at him, her eyes irritated, filled with pain. Toothless wiggled and shook his head in disagreement. She placed her hand on his head and scratched it.
"Of course I am, how could anyone love a monster?"
